Responsibilities
- Develop and support compliant and optimized graphics drivers for Adreno GPUs.
- Collaborate with GPU software and hardware teams and independent software vendors.
- Apply graphics API, rendering pipeline, API interoperability, and multimedia IP knowledge.
- Debug graphics systems and profile DirectX/Vulkan games for performance.
- Plan, prioritize, and solve undefined technical problems independently with minimal supervision.
- Communicate technical information across teams and make decisions affecting work beyond the immediate group.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 4+ years of software engineering or related experience; or a master's degree plus 3+ years; or a PhD plus 2+ years.
- At least 2 years of work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- 8+ years of experience with graphics APIs including DX11, DX12, or Vulkan.
- Strong object-oriented design and C++ development experience.
- Hands-on game development experience and experience with GPU-based rendering techniques.
- Preferred experience implementing or supporting graphics drivers for Direct3D, Vulkan, or OpenCL standards.
- Preferred strong debugging skills, graphics rendering pipeline knowledge, API interoperability experience, multimedia IP familiarity, and DirectX/Vulkan game performance profiling experience.
