Base Salary
$185k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop intuitive, performant, and scalable user-facing features for web and multi-platform products.
- Own product features from ideation and specification through development, launch, and ongoing improvement.
- Build and scale real-time multi-user interactions, messaging, and live collaboration systems.
- Design and optimize product features using generative AI, large language models, and agentic workflows.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver polished, accessible, and responsive creative workflows.
- Write and review technical proposals, evaluate technical and product trade-offs, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering experience, including at least two years in senior, product-focused roles building web or mobile products at scale.
- Deep proficiency in modern frontend and/or backend technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, Go, or similar.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and reliable high-traffic services.
- Demonstrated experience delivering impactful user-facing features with strong product judgment.
- Ability to lead projects independently, identify product bottlenecks, and deliver high-impact solutions with limited direction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
- Preferred experience with real-time collaboration, creative tools, media-rich applications, generative AI, agentic product patterns, fast-growing startups, competitive coding, hackathons, or open source.
