Base Salary
$185k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of user-facing features for Pika’s web and multi-platform products.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver user-centric features that enhance creative workflows.
- Take ownership of product features from ideation through development and ongoing improvement.
- Build and scale systems for real-time multi-user interactions and collaboration.
- Design product features that leverage generative AI to enhance creative tools.
- Write and review technical proposals and mentor other engineers to promote best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in senior, product-focused roles.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful user-facing features.
- Deep proficiency in modern frontend and/or backend technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, or Go.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Passion for delivering polished and accessible end-user experiences.
- Ability to lead projects independently and identify product bottlenecks.
