Responsibilities
- Design and develop rich, scalable, modular web applications and accessible user interfaces.
- Build, test, maintain, and support UI applications, including legacy web applications.
- Develop unit tests and perform end-to-end testing for UI modules and components.
- Participate in technical design, architecture, system design, code reviews, proof-of-concepts, and technology evaluations.
- Mentor and guide engineers while driving frontend development, testing, performance, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product, business, and architecture teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Contribute across the software lifecycle, including development, deployment, and production support.
Requirements
- Requires 8+ years of software development experience with strong frontend exposure.
- Requires deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Tailwind, HTML, SASS, and CSS.
- Requires frontend testing experience with tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.
- Requires experience with modern frontend tooling such as Webpack and Vite.
- Requires understanding of DOM behavior, browsers, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Requires experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, mentoring engineers, and leading code reviews.
- Requires backend exposure including REST API consumption, data modeling, API design, and microservices fundamentals.
- Preferred experience includes Micro Frontends, UI tooling, Java, Spring Boot, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, and end-to-end initiative ownership.
