Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance Java/J2EE applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Build microservices and RESTful APIs for integration across distributed enterprise systems.
- Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka and work with MongoDB and SQL databases.
- Contribute to cloud deployment strategies, containerized environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform code reviews, automated testing, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and secure coding.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, quality engineering, DevOps, business stakeholders, and clients throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor team members and support technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and delivery outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of team-leading and hands-on experience with Java, Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MongoDB.
- Strong expertise building scalable distributed applications with microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with MongoDB and SQL databases, including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, API gateways, and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, unit testing, integration testing, and automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Experience with public-facing web applications and enterprise-grade banking solutions is helpful.
- Ability to mentor developers, guide technical decisions, improve scalability and resilience, and contribute to knowledge sharing is preferred.
