Base Salary
$190k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead platform engineering consultant and trusted advisor to executive and platform leadership stakeholders.
- Partner with sales and account teams to shape pursuits, proposals, statements of work, estimates, and platform engineering go-to-market initiatives.
- Translate business use cases into platform engineering roadmaps, investment cases, target operating models, and reference architectures.
- Advise clients on agentic AI, internal developer platforms, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, observability, CI/CD modernization, and platform automation.
- Lead complex platform engineering programs involving platform build-out, migration, modernization, and operational maturity.
- Set delivery governance and success criteria while managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, decisions, and executive reporting.
- Coordinate Trace3 architects, engineers, product owners, client resources, sponsors, sales teams, and business units across multiple workstreams.
- Develop Trace3 platform engineering offerings, frameworks, collateral, and thought leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree preferred, in Business, IT, Computer Science, Quantitative Methods, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of work experience in pre-sales or management consulting is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in one or more industries such as healthcare, financial services, technology, or manufacturing is required.
- Practical knowledge and pre-sales experience selling AI and agentic solutions in the Platform Engineering/AI Native Developer Experience space is required.
- Experience planning, organizing, and managing other consultants to achieve project objectives is required.
- Strong oral, written communication, presentation, organization, time-management, prioritization, and executive communication skills are required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams, is required.
- Experience in an Agile environment is required.
