Responsibilities
- Lead administration and configuration of cloud infrastructure and application code delivery.
- Oversee infrastructure as code and automate complex deployment and administrative tasks.
- Develop deployment scripts, integrate automated tests into delivery pipelines, and resolve complex deployment issues.
- Design monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerts; analyze monitoring data and report trends to stakeholders.
- Manage cloud permissions, backup strategies, configuration records, security controls, and compliance documentation.
- Assess resource utilization, forecast capacity needs, and develop scaling and cost-optimization plans.
- Facilitate cross-functional cloud initiative meetings, resolve priority conflicts, and track agreed actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one foundational cloud certification, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader.
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience across platform engineering.
- Preferred: advanced AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Apache Kafka certification.
- Preferred: 8+ years of cloud engineering experience designing and implementing cloud platform solutions.
- Skills in cloud services management, configuration management, infrastructure as code, DevSecOps, monitoring, capacity planning, security management, technical communication, deployment, conflict management, and collaboration.
