Responsibilities
- Build Priceline’s native iPhone and iPad applications for hotel, rental car, and air travel bookings.
- Develop innovative platform features from scratch using Xcode, Swift, SwiftUI, and core iOS technologies.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX specialists to deliver fast, efficient, and stable mobile solutions.
- Apply modern concurrency patterns, mobile architecture patterns, local data persistence, and dependency-management practices.
- Mentor and coach less experienced developers on engineering best practices.
- Remain open to contributing to the Android platform and bridging iOS and Android ecosystems as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
- At least 4 years of experience with one or more iOS SDK frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Swift, the iOS SDK, and the Xcode development environment.
- Understanding of async/await, GCD, and modern concurrency patterns.
- Hands-on experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, or VIPER is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Core Data, Realm, or SQLite and Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, unit testing, data structures, and multithreaded development.
- Android, cross-platform development, or knowledge of Node.js, Kotlin, or another backend framework is a plus.
- Demonstrated alignment with Priceline’s values, including customer focus, innovation, teamwork, accountability, trust, integrity, and ethics.
