Base Salary
$166k - $331k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to determine user requirements for complex scenarios.
- Provide technical leadership for dependencies, solution identification, and design documentation across products, applications, services, and platforms.
- Lead by example and mentor engineers in producing extensible and maintainable code.
- Lead cross-product project plans, release plans, and work items using deep subject-matter expertise.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual, mentor engineers, and participate in on-call monitoring for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
- Improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance while driving consistent monitoring and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- Preferred: master's degree and 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor's degree and 15+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
