Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Build and maintain algorithms and ensure application design constraints are met through implementation.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to improve software applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Guide peers on responsible, secure, and effective use of AI-assisted engineering tools.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Ability to code in one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, React.js, and software development practices.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Knowledge of application resiliency, security, and software development automation practices.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud technologies such as AWS EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, or Cloud Foundry.
