Responsibilities
- Own technical onboarding for market makers and institutional clients integrating with Polymarket’s REST, WebSocket, and order-entry APIs.
- Serve as the primary technical contact post-onboarding, triage issues, and coordinate resolutions with engineering.
- Create and maintain integration guides, code samples, and client documentation.
- Translate client feedback into platform improvements and feature requests with product and engineering.
- Identify integration bottlenecks, latency issues, and API pain points proactively.
- Support institutional sales with technical due diligence, client calls, and deep API and infrastructure discussions.
- Monitor client API health and usage patterns and proactively address anomalies.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in a technical client-facing role such as developer relations, solutions engineering, or technical account management at an exchange, fintech, or trading technology company.
- Hands-on experience with exchange or trading APIs including REST, WebSocket, and FIX, including production integration debugging.
- Ability to read and write code in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language for samples, debugging, and workflow automation.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of electronic trading concepts including order types, latency, market data feeds, and execution quality.
- Bonus experience with crypto exchanges, DeFi protocols, on-chain trading venues, prediction markets, market maker or HFT integrations, quantitative finance, trading systems, or financial data infrastructure.
