Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Operators in Go for automating and managing cloud resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes Operator and cloud resource management issues.
- Develop secure, high-quality production software and maintain algorithms integrated with other systems.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to produce visualizations and reporting that improve software applications and systems.
- Identify problems and patterns in data to improve coding practices and system architecture.
- Participate in software engineering communities of practice and emerging technology events.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with applied field experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Practical experience with cloud services including AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and secure, resilient software practices.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably Go, Python, or Java.
- Experience developing in Go and familiarity with Kubernetes architecture and resource management are preferred.
- Background in cloud or infrastructure automation and exposure to multiple cloud providers are preferred.
