Responsibilities
- Deliver scalable, high-quality application solutions for critical business functions and client outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into effective solutions.
- Design and develop secure, resilient, maintainable applications, API-first architectures, integrations, and event-driven solutions.
- Implement intelligent automation and AI-enabled innovation within application landscapes.
- Use peer reviews, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement to maintain engineering quality.
- Contribute to solution design, architectural decisions, and long-term scalability and sustainability.
- Work effectively within Agile/Scrum delivery teams and resolve complex issues across distributed environments.
Requirements
- Extensive experience developing enterprise applications with Java, with Java 21 or 25 preferred.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, microservices architecture, API development, integration patterns, data transformation, messaging, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Maven or Gradle, automated testing frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application deployment.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including performance optimization and scalability considerations.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design patterns, object-oriented programming, troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem solving.
- Highly desirable experience with AI-assisted development tools, Agentic AI, LLM-enabled applications, Azure, AWS, GCP, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, observability, Infrastructure as Code, and deployment automation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
