Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and lead features end to end.
- Define technical roadmaps, architecture plans, and annual planning contributions.
- Build scalable systems processing customer interaction data and applying generative AI for patterns and personalized insights.
- Integrate generative AI and large language models into production systems.
- Own architectural decisions balancing innovation, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor and develop engineers and contribute to team technical leadership.
- Write design proposals, operational runbooks, and post-incident reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive improvements to engineering processes, tooling, and operational practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
