Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale full-stack applications across the software development lifecycle.
- Build modern user experiences with React and scalable backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and enhance cloud-native applications running on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes, including AKS.
- Create APIs, database designs, and server-side components for mission-critical investment applications.
- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Apply automation, testing, secure development, DevSecOps, and CI/CD engineering practices.
- Mentor team members through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams on high-impact solutions.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of full-stack development experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Java development experience.
- At least 5 years of advanced SQL and database development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with microservices and Kubernetes, preferably AKS.
- Strong experience building modern web applications with React.js.
- Expertise with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Copilot, modern CI/CD pipelines, and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, testing, and secure development practices.
- Preferred experience in capital markets, investment management, credit or financial risk, or accounting.
- Preferred knowledge of portfolio positions, security master data, market data, investment workflows, and investment data platforms.
- Familiarity with market data platforms such as BDMS or similar solutions is preferred.
