Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and continuously improve real-time, high-throughput systems that monitor orders and quotes across venues.
- Process large datasets and support market-making obligations.
- Automate compliance processes by detecting prohibited trading behaviors and generating and submitting regulatory reports.
- Adapt compliance controls to evolving rules and guidelines.
- Resolve production issues quickly to maintain uninterrupted market operations.
- Document architectures, processes, and changes for audits and regulatory reviews.
Requirements
- At least five years of Java development experience with real-time, low-latency trading or financial-services systems.
- Experience building scalable, high-performance data pipelines and market-monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of market-making, trading operations, risk management, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a regulated, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience with compliance or surveillance platforms, financial-regulation frameworks, operational-risk management tools, cloud-native architectures, or big-data technologies.
