Base Salary
$151k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead design sessions that decompose business problems into complex system and interface designs.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance frontend and backend applications and services.
- Build AI systems and functionality using Python and SQL.
- Develop both client-side and server-side application components.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the user interface, application, and database layers.
- Collaborate with developers, sponsors, executives, and other stakeholders to deliver AI products.
- Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.
- Plan product releases at strategic and tactical implementation levels.
- Drive product direction and lead engineers through the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or similar work experience, with a background in computer science, data science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or similar experience.
- 3–5 years of experience building and deploying production-level machine learning solutions or similar experience.
- 3–5 years of Python experience or similar experience.
- 3–5 years of frontend development experience.
- Proficiency in database schema design, distributed systems, and cloud-based computing.
- Preferred experience delivering product solutions from idea through deployment.
- Preferred experience with web services and API frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI.
- Strong analytical, communication, organization, mentoring, project leadership, and presentation skills.
