Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable platforms and infrastructure for discovering, scanning, processing, curating, transforming, and delivering data for model evaluation and training.
- Develop mechanisms that identify, standardize, validate, and make evaluation data easier for downstream teams to discover and consume.
- Transform heterogeneous data from multiple sources and formats into standardized, high-quality datasets.
- Build reliable data discovery and processing pipelines operating at massive scale while improving data quality, coverage, observability, efficiency, and developer productivity.
- Collaborate with scientists, ML engineers, evaluation teams, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements and identify gaps.
- Prototype technologies, evaluate technical feasibility, drive solutions from concept to production, influence technical architecture, and establish engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 3 years of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
