Base Salary

$92k - $142k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Implement basic enhancements and modifications to existing software under close guidance.
  • Write modular, reusable, high-quality code and participate in all phases of the SDLC.
  • Design and implement test automation code and troubleshoot application bugs.
  • Resolve static code analysis and security-scan findings.
  • Develop and author APIs, including RESTful web services, and support application improvements.
  • Engage with team members for code feedback and align implementations with customer and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Core Java and Java web application development for RESTful web services.
  • Preferred education in mathematics, science, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Spring Data, JPA, JDBC, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Maven, Kafka, and reactive or event-driven programming.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, multithreading, concurrency, and API development.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, context management, LLM structured inputs, and AI coding assistants such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with security-focused development, including Checkmarx, Qualys, Aqua, or similar scanners.
  • Experience with Java or JavaScript API automation frameworks such as Rest Assured, TestNG, JUnit, Jasmine, or Jest.
  • Frontend experience with React or Angular.
