Base Salary
$160k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to support presales engagements, align technical solutions with customer goals, and drive revenue through strategic value selling.
- Navigate public sector procurement, NIST guidelines, DoD frameworks, federal compliance mandates, and government procurement standards.
- Deliver product demonstrations and Proofs of Value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support RFIs, RFPs, and bid processes with technically accurate responses.
- Design solutions and guide customers through the technical lifecycle while collaborating with Product and Engineering on roadmap feedback.
- Develop DoD and federal reference architectures and promote secure DevSecOps practices across federal agencies.
- Maintain expertise in DevOps, cloud, software delivery, and emerging technologies relevant to public sector transformation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with DevOps technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD tools, Artifactory, build tools, and modern SDLC practices.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning, network security, container and Kubernetes security, software supply chain security, SBOMs, artifact signing, SLSA, and CI/CD security integration.
- Technical sales, presales, or sales engineering experience is preferred, particularly with U.S. public sector clients; MEDDPICC experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of DoD environments, impact-level classifications, NIST standards, federal compliance, and procurement models.
- Proficiency with AWS, Azure, GCP, and Linux, including the ability to design hybrid architectures and scalable deployment solutions.
- Ability to deliver proofs of concept and technical presentations and communicate business value to technical and executive audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-centric, solution-oriented mindset.
- U.S. citizenship is required; active security clearance is a plus and government security requirements may apply.
- Ability to travel at least 25% throughout the United States is required.
