Base Salary
$90k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support integrations between Qualys and enterprise SIEM, ITSM, CMDB, asset management, data warehouse, analytics, and cloud platforms.
- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Qualys APIs, ETL/ELT frameworks, web services, and event-driven architectures.
- Collect, normalize, enrich, distribute, and optimize vulnerability and asset management data across security sources.
- Automate vulnerability management workflows, ticket creation, remediation tracking, and reporting.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks and implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms.
- Administer and optimize Qualys modules, including VMDR, Global AssetView, CSAM, Policy Compliance, Web Application Scanning, Patch Management, and Threat Protection.
- Configure API authentication, permissions, and secure connectivity, and troubleshoot data collection and synchronization issues.
- Create data models and dashboards for vulnerability exposure, asset inventory, compliance posture, remediation effectiveness, and security trends.
- Ensure integrations meet security, compliance, and data governance standards and support related audits.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and ability to clear the DHS clearance process.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data integration, data engineering, security engineering, or enterprise application integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Qualys platform administration and APIs.
- Strong programming experience in Python and/or PowerShell.
- Experience building REST API integrations and web services.
- Knowledge of JSON, XML, SQL, and ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of vulnerability management processes and security operations.
