Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and subject matter experts to translate requirements and workflows into test strategies and scenarios.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual UI and API tests covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Build API automation suites validating REST services, integrations, authentication mechanisms, and business workflows.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
- Analyze, document, track, and resolve defects in partnership with development teams.
- Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring defects.
- Conduct cross-browser, cross-platform, performance, load, security, and penetration testing.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies while improving automation frameworks and test coverage.
- Use generative AI and AI-assisted testing tools for test development, defect analysis, test maintenance, and evaluation of AI-powered application features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing, with strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, and JMeter.
- Experience with API testing, data validation, integration testing, and REST service and authentication validation.
- Experience with Postman, REST Assured, or Swagger.
- Experience integrating automated tests into Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions pipelines.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps, SQL and database testing, and performance tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6 is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT, plus prompt engineering fundamentals, is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and English-language skills are preferred.
