Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Set engineering standards and ensure quality of outputs across multiple teams.
- Own technical product design and architecture for complex software systems.
- Develop and shape a department-wide technical vision and influence engineering approaches.
- Partner with product management on product strategy, descriptions, and technology-roadmap alignment.
- Lead cross-functional technical solution development and collaborate with software engineering, product, architecture, and customers.
- Coach and mentor team members and serve as a senior point of expertise on software engineering issues and emerging technologies.
- Create and deliver technical presentations to small-to-medium-sized groups and stakeholders at all company levels.
- Support risk management and the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent typical preparation through education and experience.
- At least 15 years of experience designing and developing complex software projects, including at least 8 years in the FinTech domain.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in creating technical solutions.
- Strong communication and public-speaking skills with the ability to present to all organizational levels.
- Experience designing and building complex end-to-end systems as a full-stack developer.
- Hands-on experience with Java, RESTful web services, Java EE, JUnit, Tomcat, Spring Boot, Spring Core, messaging frameworks, Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript, JQuery, and AngularJS.
- Experience with microservices architecture, test automation, object-oriented analysis and design, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Experience with Git, Chef, Maven, Jenkins, cloud platforms, code repositories, bug-tracking tools, and wikis.
- Preferred qualifications include an M.S. or Ph.D. in a technical field, AWS experience, database architecture, Terraform, monitoring and alerting systems, additional programming languages, ACH/EFT, and real-time payment networks such as RTP and FedNow.
- Ability to complete a background and drug screen and independently possess U.S. work eligibility at the date of hire.
