Responsibilities
- Plan and execute testing approaches including risk-based, exploratory, system integration, end-to-end, regression, security, and usability testing.
- Analyze technical specifications and user stories to develop test cases and scenarios.
- Coordinate test scope and scenarios with stakeholders, communicate progress, and escalate risks and challenges.
- Report, investigate, and triage defects with relevant stakeholders.
- Review test types, coverage, processes, runbooks, and documentation to improve engineering and operational quality maturity.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers on risk assessment, mitigation, estimation, and execution of test artifacts.
- Create and maintain quality process and procedure documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or a similar field, or equivalent working experience.
- 3–5 years of demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in both Agile IT development and traditional development models, with an understanding of shift-left quality practices.
- Knowledge of unit, functional, usability, accessibility, performance, capacity, security, integration, and compatibility testing.
- Current testing industry knowledge and the ability to introduce improved ways of working.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, planning, communication, and English-language skills.
- Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
