Responsibilities
- Contribute to customer implementations across application assessment, planning, design, deployment, development, integration, testing, operations, optimization, and best-practices adoption.
- Deliver classroom-based training to customer architects, developers, and operations personnel.
- Collaborate with consulting engineers, project managers, account teams, Product, and Engineering.
- Act as a trusted advisor and communicate technical proposals and product-roadmap information to customers.
- Influence MongoDB product development by contributing field experience.
- Travel up to 20% in normal circumstances and when clients prefer in-person meetings.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development, consulting, or support experience, preferably across multiple industries or verticals.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations.
- Competence in at least one of Java, C++, C#, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Scala, or Go.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is preferred.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, customer-management, speaking, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both English and German.
