Responsibilities
- Develop and support Java backend solutions for digital banking and Digital Rights services.
- Influence application design and architecture rather than only implementing assigned requirements.
- Discuss business and technical specifications with analysts and business stakeholders and propose solution designs.
- Identify risks, ambiguities, and weaknesses in analyses and technical proposals.
- Take responsibility for technical decisions.
- Create REST interfaces, work with databases and messaging, write unit tests, and conduct careful code reviews.
Requirements
- Senior-level practical experience in software development and design.
- Experience with microservice architecture.
- Knowledge of Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of REST interface development.
- Knowledge of database and database development, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of messaging, particularly Kafka.
- Knowledge of unit testing and careful code review.
- Technical English and Czech language ability.
- Experience or interest in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, UCD/ArgoCD, and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Experience with agile development methodology is advantageous.
