Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, testing, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements to applications, coding practices, and system architecture.
- Support software operational stability and contribute to solutions aligned with firm business objectives.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, EAC, CI/CD, Jenkins, Jules, Spinnaker, and the WS Solution Architect Certified Engineer qualification.
- Change management, incident management, ITIL process knowledge, and hands-on UNIX experience.
- Experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Ability to code in one or more modern programming languages and use database querying languages across the full software development life cycle.
- Preferred qualifications include computer engineering education, 6+ years of AWS and cloud technology experience, familiarity with modern front-end technologies, and exposure to cloud technologies.
