Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of AEM Assets and Digital Asset Management solutions.
- Build asset ingestion, processing, distribution, metadata, taxonomy, content reuse, and lifecycle-management capabilities.
- Develop and optimize workflow-driven asset pipelines from upload and enrichment through approval and publishing.
- Define DAM architecture, standards, governance, and engineering best practices.
- Integrate AEM Sites, Workfront, PIM, and downstream digital platforms.
- Ensure DAM service performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Drive CI/CD implementation and enforce engineering quality standards.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, business analysts, QA, and architects on end-to-end delivery.
- Mentor engineers and guide development teams on DAM best practices.
- Improve asset discoverability, reuse, and lifecycle management across the enterprise platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise with Adobe Experience Manager, including AEM Assets and DAM.
- Strong Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience.
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience designing DAM metadata schemas and governing taxonomies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Maven and Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale DAM or CMS platforms.
- Preferred experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Preferred knowledge of Workfront or similar workflow tools.
- Preferred experience with AI-driven tagging, metadata enrichment, or asset automation.
- Preferred familiarity with headless CMS, APIs, or GraphQL.
- Strong technical leadership, architecture design, system design, problem-solving, collaboration, and stakeholder-management abilities.
