Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Kotlin-based microservices in the JVM ecosystem using Spring Boot or Quarkus.
- Implement and configure Azure API Management gateway policies using C# and XML for routing, validation, security, and performance.
- Containerize applications and deploy them to Azure Kubernetes Service using Helm charts.
- Maintain Terraform infrastructure repositories and provision Azure Redis, Key Vault, and networking resources.
- Manage deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
- Write Python scripts and operational runbooks to automate routine tasks.
- Integrate Redis for caching and authorization layers and implement OAuth2/JWT standards across endpoints.
- Configure API gateway patterns including rate limiting, authentication, and routing.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Kotlin in the JVM ecosystem and experience with Spring Boot or Quarkus.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing services on Kubernetes using Helm.
- Experience writing and managing Terraform infrastructure for Azure resources.
- Direct experience with Azure API Management, including C#/XML gateway policies and routing configuration.
- Deep understanding of API gateway patterns and OAuth2/JWT authorization models.
- Experience building commercial B2B APIs.
- Proficiency with Python for scripting, tooling, and runbooks.
- Experience configuring and maintaining GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry for tracing and observability.
- Strong operational knowledge of Redis.
- Nice-to-have experience with Go, Rust, TypeScript, React, or Scala.
