Base Salary
$84k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site development and support for the Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment family of systems.
- Identify, deconflict, and orchestrate integration of competing software branches.
- Refactor legacy Java and JavaScript code and build modular, reusable code.
- Research existing systems and design new systems and configurations.
- Research and implement integrations between new and existing systems.
- Troubleshoot Java code and recommend new features and improvements.
- Support multiple complex tasks with concurrent or near-concurrent deadlines.
Requirements
- At least two years of software development experience.
- Coding experience in Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience developing or integrating RESTful APIs.
- Experience with common CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, or Bitbucket.
- Must hold a DoD 8570-compliant IAT II certification, such as SSCP or Security+ CE with the appropriate CE/OS certificate, or obtain one within six months.
- U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government Top Secret/SCI security clearance are required.
- Clear communication, technical writing ability, teamwork, accountability, self-direction, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are required.
- Experience with multithreaded, asynchronous, or event-driven code; container concepts; cloud platforms; real-time streaming data or socket programming; Red Hat-based Linux; Linux services; RPM deployment; and network fundamentals is desired.
