Responsibilities
- Design enterprise identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID.
- Develop identity architecture roadmaps, target-state architectures, and high-level and low-level designs.
- Create Entra ID control policies and authorization frameworks based on least privilege and zero-trust principles.
- Lead client workshops and discovery sessions and translate requirements into IAM architectures.
- Design and deploy authentication solutions using OAuth2.0, SAML, and OIDC.
- Develop IAM and customer identity solutions using Entra External ID.
- Manage identities, conditional access, multifactor authentication, identity governance, application provisioning, and identity lifecycle processes.
- Lead small- to medium-sized project design and delivery across solution architecture and associated infrastructure or business and functional requirements.
- Advise on privileged access management, secrets management, privacy, security, and compliance challenges.
- Collaborate with clients, consulting firms, team members, and stakeholders while contributing to agile backlog items and continuous improvement.
- Automate and extend IAM functionality using PowerShell, Azure tools, Python, or similar languages.
Requirements
- Proven experience in identity and access management, especially Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience in client-facing consulting and advisory discussions.
- Understanding of Active Directory, legacy authentication protocols, Entra ID Sync, and Entra ID Domain Services.
- Experience managing conditional access, multifactor authentication, identity governance, modern authentication, and application integrations.
- Experience leading small- to medium-sized project design and delivery.
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft identity management functionality, capabilities, and limitations.
- Experience with Entra ID SSO and authentication methods, Active Directory security, Group Policy Objects, organizational unit structures, Entra Application Provisioning, and SCIM.
- Understanding of IAM lifecycle management, secure coding practices, and security principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Experience with additional IAM platforms such as Auth0, Ping Identity, or ForgeRock is preferred.
- Experience implementing customer identity and access management solutions for consumer-facing applications is preferred.
- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain security clearance are required; existing security clearance is preferred but not mandatory.
