Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications with emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Lead the design and development of complex software solutions for cybersecurity applications.
- Oversee and mentor software developers, provide technical guidance, and foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product owners, product managers, designers, security analysts, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes, tools, and practices.
- Develop technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.
- Stay current with modern Java development practices, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity industry trends.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with Java or Python and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with SQL and database systems such as MySQL or MariaDB.
- Knowledge of AI tools and agent integration.
- Understanding of the CI/CD development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with Git version control and GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
- Experience with Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with testing frameworks and libraries such as JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Willingness to upskill in Laravel/PHP, infrastructure-as-code, SaaS environment concepts, and queue-based architecture.
