Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical relationships with education customers and serve as their trusted technical advisor.
- Design secure, scalable, reliable, performant, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions.
- Advise customers on security, reliability, cost optimisation, operational excellence, performance efficiency, and technical best practices.
- Develop, deliver, review, and maintain reference architectures, white papers, code samples, blog posts, workshops, and other technical content.
- Educate and evangelise AWS technologies through workshops, user groups, meet-ups, public speaking, online videos, and conferences.
- Represent customer needs internally to inform AWS features and programs.
- Create reusable solution designs and work with internal and customer stakeholders to build consensus.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- At least 2 years of application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting experience.
- Experience architecting secure, scalable, reliable, and performant cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Experience working directly with customers as a technical advisor on design choices, best practices, and use cases.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics verbally, in writing, and through diagrams to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
- Preferred experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Preferred experience working with AWS technologies from a development and operations perspective.
