Base Salary
$79k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build customer relationships and support the selling of Esri software and solutions as part of an account team.
- Plan and execute sales strategies with account teams.
- Develop expertise in public safety and ArcGIS and advise customers on technology trends and business needs.
- Craft, propose, and deliver GIS strategies and solutions aligned with customer challenges and business value.
- Create and present technical demonstrations and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide best practices for the use, deployment, and administration of Esri technology.
- Present at conferences and trade shows.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
- At least 1 year of experience in the public safety field.
- Understanding of ArcGIS from an IT context, including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Experience in technical consulting, conceptual solution design, and sales or business development processes.
- Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25–50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to undergo a background investigation and obtain or maintain eligibility for a Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
- Preferred experience troubleshooting Esri application deployment and system architecture.
- Preferred experience integrating software with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms.
- Preferred experience incorporating real-time information streams with GIS data and IT infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
- Preferred programming and scripting experience with Python and JavaScript.
- A master’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
