Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale distributed networking security software services and solutions.
- Create modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable, monitored, and reusable services through system design, code reviews, and well-defined interfaces.
- Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and resolve service problem areas.
- Use data and telemetry to guide engineering, reliability, monitoring, and optimization decisions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, customers, partners, mentors, and leaders to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, Golang, Rust, or similar languages.
- At least 2 years of familiarity with core networking protocols and technologies including HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, and DNS.
- At least 3 years of experience with Windows-based operating system internals and open-source contributions.
- Ability to pass required Microsoft, customer, and government security screenings, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Benefits
- Base pay is listed at USD $102,100–$202,200 per year across the U.S.; separate ranges apply to the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for a minimum of five days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
