Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve mission-critical data and integration platforms for reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Define and lead solution architecture across multiple large-scale projects supporting clearing, risk management, and collateral processes.
- Represent solution architecture in governance forums and stakeholder engagements.
- Produce technical solution designs, functional specifications, controls, data flows, and related architecture documentation.
- Partner with business analysis, delivery, infrastructure, IT service ownership, quality engineering, solution engineering, testing, and engineering teams.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise IT strategy, enterprise architecture principles, technology architecture strategy, software integrity, and reusability.
- Contribute to the Enterprise Architecture and Business Architecture communities of practice.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a Solution Architect role.
- Experience architecting mission-critical environments and complex, highly regulated systems.
- Experience with modern AWS data platforms, data-driven architectures, event-driven architectures, and Kafka.
- AWS cloud transformation project or program experience with a strong delivery focus.
- Experience developing solution architectures in hybrid legacy and cloud environments spanning SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
- Experience across the full software development life cycle using traditional and agile methodologies.
- Experience developing non-functional requirements for new or uplifted solutions.
- Strong documentation, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and customer-oriented technology explanation skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience with legacy technology environments, enterprise-wide strategic programs, and integrated exchange environments is preferred.
