Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement features for real-time event-processing systems handling billions of events per day.
- Own requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support for software components.
- Build and maintain low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems processing advertising signals including impressions, pixels, clicks, and video completions.
- Participate in on-call rotations and operational excellence initiatives to maintain 100% availability.
- Contribute to architecture decisions for event pipelines, caching layers, and data transformation services.
- Write maintainable code with thorough unit and integration test coverage.
- Collaborate with partner teams across bid requests, creative rendering, reporting, and billing.
- Mentor teammates and participate in code and design reviews.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

- The base salary range is $165,200.00–$223,600.00 annually in Mountain View, California.
