Responsibilities
- Build robust, secure, and scalable backend microservices for ad delivery, targeting, measurement, and other JioStar applications.
- Write maintainable code, perform unit testing, participate in code reviews, and ensure sub-second server response times.
- Select and implement relational, document, key-value, object, graph, index, and messaging data stores as appropriate.
- Operate and maintain cloud infrastructure and contribute to architecture and technology evaluations.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and interns in functional and domain areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python.
- Experience building distributed, domain-driven microservices and understanding database and storage fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, messaging systems such as Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Large-scale production systems experience with a focus on performance and reliability is preferred.
- Ability to translate ambiguous product requirements into structured, scalable technical solutions.
