Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design, development, delivery, production operation, and maintenance of major features and services.
- Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant distributed storage, indexing, and query systems.
- Make architectural and technical trade-offs and drive design reviews, code quality, testing, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to create and launch innovative products and services.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 3+ years of video games industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
