Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Infor IQ backend reasoning, query, and governance services as Spring Boot microservices.
- Translate product requirements and design inputs into technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Develop REST and GraphQL APIs for ontology classification, traversal, explanation, and authorization.
- Build ontology data access over federated SQL query engines using OBDA mappings and tenant-aware rule execution.
- Design the grounding and governance boundary, including structural validation and an auditable decision-ledger pipeline.
- Review AI-generated code for correctness, architecture, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Partner with product, domain experts, and frontend engineers while using AI development tools in daily development.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and shipping production backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong command of REST and GraphQL API design and consumption, including schemas and typed contracts.
- Hands-on experience with relational or federated query data access using SQL and JDBC.
- Understanding of distributed systems, including concurrency, caching, messaging or event streaming, and horizontal scaling.
- Comfort with AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure and Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, plus security, multi-tenancy, and data-isolation practices.
- Daily use of AI development tools such as Claude, Kiro, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools.
- Preferred familiarity with RDF, OWL, SPARQL, SHACL, triplestores, Apache Jena/Fuseki, OBDA, Ontop, Athena, Trino, Presto, Drools, workflow or BPMN engines, LLM/GenAI integrations, enterprise ERP or analytics products, Gradle or Maven monorepos, event-driven architectures, stream processing, and observability tooling.
