Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test frameworks.
- Write Java automation code using testing frameworks.
- Perform API, UI, integration, regression, end-to-end, database, and performance testing.
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze defects, conduct root cause analysis, and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Define test strategies and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote quality engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong Java programming skills.
- Experience with Selenium or Playwright for UI automation.
- Knowledge of event-driven applications, Kafka, and Cassandra.
- Experience with API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or SOAP UI.
- SQL and database testing knowledge.
- Experience with Jenkins and Git.
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD tools such as Cucumber or JBehave.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- JMeter performance-testing experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, learning, and technical mentoring skills.
