Base Salary
$80k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build a service that delivers ML-generated enriched attributes to customers.
- Design and develop a high-throughput, low-latency Badges service for heavy traffic.
- Develop and maintain Attribute Enrichment and Badges product features.
- Deploy highly available cloud services and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Set up observability, monitoring metrics, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Manage a dedicated database for enriched items, metadata, and derived attributes while ensuring data consistency, performance, and availability.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for backend services.
- Collaborate closely with ML engineers and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience.
- Strong computer science background and familiarity with networking principles.
- Proficiency in Python and backend development patterns.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-load real-time services and public APIs.
- Experience with NoSQL and relational databases, distributed systems, and caching solutions is a plus.
- Experience with a compiled programming language such as Go or Rust is a plus.
- Experience writing backend unit and integration tests using Pytest, unittest, or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent English communication skills.
