Base Salary
$149k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and operate scalable endpoint security software, automation, tools, and internal solutions.
- Build production automation for endpoint environments exceeding 10,000 systems using Python or Go.
- Design automation pipelines and utilities to improve endpoint configuration consistency, remediation, and incident response.
- Integrate and tune event ingestion, alerting, detection logic, and remediation workflows with SIEM, SOAR, and telemetry teams.
- Apply security best practices, threat modeling, change management, vendor evaluation, and proof-of-concept development.
- Contribute to endpoint security platform enhancements, infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, and CI/CD efforts.
- Define and enforce endpoint security policies, standard operating procedures, operational protocols, and documentation.
- Partner with product managers, architects, security engineers, and other teams throughout project delivery and ongoing operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on security software development experience.
- Experience developing production automation at a scale exceeding 10,000 endpoint systems.
- Continuous hands-on scripting or programming experience with Python or Go.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and the secure software development lifecycle.
- Experience with proof-of-concepts, formal enterprise change management, threat modeling, and vendor evaluation.
- Ability to lead initiatives or support team goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Preferred experience integrating or operating enterprise-scale endpoint protection, firewall, email security, or exposure management platforms.
- Preferred experience building detection content or automated response playbooks in SIEM or SOAR platforms.
- Preferred experience contributing to infrastructure-as-code or configuration-as-code pipelines in a security operations context.
