Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Drive technical leadership across multiple engineering teams and mentor senior developers.
- Integrate AI tools and AI-enabled capabilities into coding, testing, documentation, code quality, refactoring, and developer productivity workflows.
- Build AI-enabled features using LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
- Lead code reviews, performance optimization, production support, modernization initiatives, and technical roadmap development.
- Drive CI/CD automation and cloud-native development practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps, QA, and data engineering teams.
- Ensure secure, observable, compliant, scalable, and maintainable software development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Core Java development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
- Extensive experience with microservices architecture, multithreading, concurrency, JVM tuning, and performance optimization.
- Experience with messaging technologies and strong SQL and NoSQL database experience, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, Nexus, and Artifactory.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns and clean architecture.
- Experience using AI tools for AI-assisted coding, automated unit test generation, code reviews, documentation, refactoring, bug analysis, root cause analysis, and security scanning.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, MCP concepts, vector databases, and AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or Google Vertex AI is required in the AI-enabled SDLC qualifications.
- Generative AI application development, agentic AI architectures, semantic search, vector embeddings, AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI experience are preferred.
