Responsibilities
- Contribute to test plans and test strategies for projects and applications.
- Analyze requirements and user stories to identify risks and derive manual and automated test coverage.
- Execute manual, exploratory, and automated testing to assure software quality.
- Report quality risks, defects, and test completion results.
- Create, maintain, and enhance automated tests and the test automation framework using technologies such as Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Support release activities and collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Recommend quality and process improvements.
Requirements
- Practical experience in a Quality Assurance or Test Automation role involving automated and manual testing.
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining automated tests with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Understanding of software testing principles, including test planning, estimation, prioritization, and risk-based testing.
- Exposure to agile testing practices such as BDD, TDD, or similar approaches.
- Ability to analyze requirements and user stories and determine appropriate test coverage.
- Understanding of quality management methods, tools, and technologies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- UNIX and SQL skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with global online businesses, fintech, payments, or other complex industries is a bonus.
- Interest in AI and ability to use AI tools in day-to-day work is a bonus.
