Responsibilities
- Deliver platform presentations and demonstrations focused on Application Security Testing and Runtime Protection.
- Evangelize Harness’s AI-native DevSecOps platform, including AppSec, API Security, and AI Security capabilities.
- Connect business security risks and compliance problems to technical solutions across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Lead technical workshops and proofs of value covering application, API, and AI security workflows.
- Communicate customer security requirements and feature requests to Engineering.
- Travel occasionally, including on short notice, for customer engagements, internal meetings, and trade shows or conferences.
Requirements
- Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS or software sales in DevSecOps or cybersecurity, or strong practitioner experience with software evaluation and buying processes.
- Hands-on experience with modern application security technologies such as API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, and SCA.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application security and security risks related to GenAI integration.
- Ability to stay current with AI security, software supply chain security, and emerging threat landscapes.
- Ability to communicate complex customer security requirements and feature requests to Engineering.
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for customer and company engagements.
