  • Design reusable compute, runtime, streaming, data-movement, telemetry, and analytical-platform patterns across multiple clouds and regions.
  • Establish standards for reliability, scalability, security, observability, disaster recovery, data residency, tenant isolation, and operational readiness.
  • Lead architecture reviews, resolve cross-organizational technical ambiguity, and influence engineering leaders and stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Guide incident response and drive durable architectural and operational improvements from lessons learned.
  • Mentor principal and senior engineers, contribute to hiring and technical assessment, and raise engineering quality across the organization.

  • Proven ability to convert ambiguous business and customer needs into architectural direction, roadmaps, and executable technical plans.
  • Experience leading complex incident response and converting operational learning into lasting platform improvements.
  • Proven ability to influence senior engineers, engineering managers, Directors, and cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Track record of creating reusable technical capabilities and driving adoption across multiple engineering teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical, executive, product, and customer-facing audiences.
  • Experience mentoring senior engineers and increasing an engineering organization’s technical and architectural capabilities.
  • Experience with Kafka or comparable event-streaming technologies, Kubernetes, stream-processing systems such as Flink, distributed databases such as TiDB, analytical data platforms, data lakehouse technologies, multi-cloud migrations, or internal developer platforms is beneficial but not required.

Benefits

  • Flexible work arrangement allowing work from an office, home, or a combination of both.
