Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, deploy, and maintain web-based Java software solutions and backend services.
- Manage application development across the software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing.
- Analyze, review, and rewrite programs to improve operating efficiency and support new requirements.
- Develop and deploy REST and SOAP web services, microservices, API gateways, and Docker services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform code performance analysis, and address issues with cross-functional groups.
- Build and maintain secure, high-volume, low-latency business-critical systems.
- Communicate with clients, customers, management, and technical stakeholders, including presenting to groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 7 years of development experience with Java technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, ORM, and JDBC.
- Experience as a Lead Developer while remaining hands-on, with strong debugging, troubleshooting, and code performance analysis skills.
- Experience with Go, Node.js, Python, web services, microservices, API gateways, Docker, and relational, NoSQL, and big-data databases.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, caching, queuing, cloud infrastructure, identity management, SSO, source control, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript frameworks, Angular, or React is preferred or beneficial.
- Knowledge of generative AI, AI pair programming, MCP, LLM, NLP, AI/ML solution design, machine learning frameworks, cloud AI services, and AI security frameworks.
- Experience in the telecom or cable industry and with high-volume, low-latency business-critical systems is required or preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-sensitive environment with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
