Responsibilities
- Lead SAP solution architecture for aerospace, defense, defense contracting, and project manufacturing transformation programs.
- Design integrated SAP S/4HANA solutions across PMMO/GPD, Project System, Production Planning, Quality Management, Materials Management, Extended Warehouse Management, and Finance/Controlling.
- Lead business and solution design workshops and define future-state operating models and solution roadmaps.
- Drive SAP PMMO and legacy GPD implementations supporting project manufacturing, material traceability, and cost control.
- Define and optimize Make-to-Order, Make-to-Project, and Engineer-to-Order manufacturing processes.
- Architect Project System capabilities for project planning, WBS structures, cost collection, revenue recognition, profitability tracking, and settlement.
- Provide expertise in product costing, project cost management, profitability analysis, and financial integration.
- Ensure Quality Management solutions support supplier quality, production quality, aerospace compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead solution governance, architecture reviews, and program-level decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, executive sponsors, and partners on global SAP transformation delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 15+ years of SAP consulting experience in aerospace and defense, defense contracting, engineer-to-order, project manufacturing, MRO, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
- At least five full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, including two in aerospace and defense or project-based manufacturing environments.
- Deep expertise in SAP PMMO and legacy GPD.
- Hands-on SAP Project System experience covering project planning, WBS management, project accounting, revenue recognition, cost collection, and settlement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Make-to-Order, Make-to-Project, and Engineer-to-Order manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in product costing, project cost control, cost allocation, profitability analysis, and FI/CO integration.
- Experience implementing and integrating SAP Quality Management in complex manufacturing environments.
- Ability to design enterprise-wide SAP solutions integrating manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, quality, and financial processes.
- Strong client-facing consulting, architecture, advisory, communication, workshop leadership, solution governance, and transformation leadership experience.
- Preferred experience with SAP Production Engineering & Operations.
- Preferred understanding of FAR/DFARS compliance requirements and defense contracting regulations.
- Preferred experience integrating SAP solutions with Deltek Costpoint.
