Base Salary
$154k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead trusted technical relationships with customer technology leaders, architects, and engineers.
- Create end-to-end solutions, prototypes, and first iterations of products based on customer business needs.
- Design, build, and test cloud solutions involving machine learning, agentic design, serverless architecture, generative AI, and modern data and analytics.
- Educate customers on AWS value propositions, cloud development best practices, architecture, security, and risk management.
- Collaborate with AWS teams to drive customer success and accelerate AWS adoption.
- Capture and share best practices with the AWS solutions architect community.
- Assess security-related knowledge gaps across AWS sales and solutions architecture teams and develop plans to address them.
- Advocate for AWS technology strategy in financial services through internal and external industry events.
- Develop technical content including white papers and reference architectures.
- Serve as project lead on some customer prototype engagements and contribute to others.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- 8+ years of experience in relevant technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, database architecture, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- Bachelor's degree, AWS certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, or similar cloud certification preferred.
- Experience in software development or Internet-related industries preferred.
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud preferred.
- Experience with AWS technologies from a development and operations perspective preferred.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular preferred.
- Proficiency using AI coding tools to improve quality and development velocity preferred.
- Financial-services industry experience preferred.
