Base Salary
$152k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical wins for complex Data Analytics workloads throughout use-case identification, technical evaluation, and customer adoption.
- Combine sales strategies with hands-on development and prototyping to create customer-tailored solutions, proofs of concept, and demos.
- Provide deep technical consultation, advise customers on Google Cloud solutions, and build lasting customer relationships.
- Create reusable solutions and assets based on customer engagement learnings.
- Communicate customer feature requests and issues to Product and Engineering teams and help document, prioritize, and resolve them.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience with Big Data technologies or concepts, including analytics warehousing, data processing, data transformation, data governance, data migrations, ETL, ELT, SQL, Spark, performance or scalability optimization, and batch versus streaming.
- Experience engaging with or presenting to technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
- Experience using Python, Spark, or SQL to demo, prototype, or workshop with customers.
- Preferred experience in technical sales or consulting involving cloud computing, data analytics, and Big Data.
- Preferred experience developing data warehouses, data lakes, batch or real-time event processing, streaming, data processing, data migrations, data visualization tools, and data governance on cloud-native architectures.
- Preferred experience designing, implementing, tuning, and optimizing schemas and queries for scalable distributed systems.
- Ability to understand customer requirements, break them down, and design technical architectures.
- Understanding of cloud computing, the cloud market, competitive dynamics, and customer buying behavior.
